Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate Chunks


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Line a brownie baking dish with parchment paper and spay with pamspray, set aside
  • Using a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda and salt and whisk to combine. Set aside.
  • Using a standing mixer, cream together the butter and sugar untillight and fluffy.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla and beat until combined.
  • Mix in the pumpkin puree and beat until combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
  • Fold in ¾ C of the semi sweet chocolate chips and the chocolate chunks.
  • Spread batter into your brownie baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and chunks onto the batter.
  • Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting it and enjoying!
