SPRING SEASON & SPRING CELEBRATIONS:
Spring celebrations are some of my favorite of the year!
This is because there is no mass gift-giving stress, beautiful warm weather (most of the time!), fun traditions with the kids, and my most favorite people in the world gathered around the table sharing our gratitude and showing our love for one another with special dishes and decorations. Plus, it gives me an excuse to break out all my craft supplies in pastel colors and create a variety of fun projects!
So, if you love spring as much as I do and are looking for some spring theme crafts, decor, recipes, and ideas to use at your next party, then you will love today’s post!
Today I am going to show you how to make some easy (and inexpensive) spring-themed party favors – perfect for Easter Brunch, Mother’s Day, and everything in between! Then, at the end of the post, I will be sharing a quick roundup of some other spring party ideas!

CREATE YOUR OWN SPRING THEMED PARTY FAVORS:
One theme you can never go wrong with when it comes to spring is flowers!
Whether they are fresh flowers or fake flowers, florals in general are the perfect addition to any spring party! This is because they can work for a variety of party themes and are the perfect way to add a pop of color to your event.
When thinking about the type of spring party craft that I would like to make and receive as a party guest, the first thing that came to my mind was party favors! – I mean, who doesn’t like a free gift? LOL
So, with that in mind, I came up with these adorable flower-themed party favors that you can fill with candy, so your party guests can either take them home after the party or you could lay them out as part of your tablescape. These party favors (as I mentioned before) are easy to make and can be made in no time at all with your Cricut machine! When making them, I went with pastel colors. However, if pastels don’t fit your party color scheme, you can change this project to bright colors or to the specific set of colors you are using for your party.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Cricut Maker (available at Cricut, Michaels, and HSN) – this would work just as well with an Explore Air
- Assorted cardstock and patterned paper
- Xyron Mega Runner
- mini cupcake liners
- candy
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN SPRING THEMED PARTY FAVORS:
1. Measure your mini cupcake liners (average size is 1 ¼”). Select an assortment of flower images in Design Space and size each image so the liner will fit in the center.
2. Cut the floral images on your Cricut. Want to create this project with the click of a button? I’ve shared it in the Cricut Community for everyone to use!
Don’t have a Cricut? You can download free images online and cut them out with scissors.
TIP: Want to make a big statement? Use full-size cupcake liners and just increase the size of the flowers!
3. Apply adhesive to the center of each flower die cut with your Xyron Mega Runner.
4. Adhere a mini cupcake liner to the flower.
5. Add candy or other treats and set them at each place setting, or scatter them across the table for a more festive tablescape!
Who doesn’t love floral accents that involve food?! – I know I do!
When filling up my party favors, I used pastel candies and eggs. However, depending on the theme of your party, you could use wrapped candy, gummy bears, or even chocolate chips!
The possibilities are truly endless with this project, and they would be perfect to use at a spring garden party, bridal shower, baby shower, spring birthdays, and more!
