Are you looking for some fun projects to create with your Cricut Maker? Getting a Maker changed the way I create – and today I’m sharing my top five Cricut Maker projects that are all easy and inexpensive to make!
Raise your hand if you LOVE your Cricut Maker!
The Cricut Maker is one of my FAVORITE Cricut machines because you can create all types of projects with just a press of a button! Plus, the machine itself is so versatile that it can cut through materials like paper, vinyl, fabric, wood, and so much more.
Since my love of the Cricut Maker (and bright colors apparently!!) runs deep, I thought it would fun to share my top five Cricut Maker projects! These projects are some of our most popular on the blog and (as always) are super simple to make.

MY TOP FIVE CRICUT MAKER PROJECTS
Felt Hanging Mobile:
Grab your Cricut Maker and Rotary Blade and you can create a custom felt hanging mobile in any color of the rainbow…or all of them!
If you are a novice (or terrible – like me!) sewer, then this project is PERFECT for you! With the Cricut Maker, I was able to create and cut the perfect size felt circles and turn them into a Felt Hanging Mobile. The Rotary Blade made it SO EASY!!!!
This way of cutting felt is so much easier because instead of cutting each individual circle by hand, I simply chose a circle shape in Cricut Design Space, and cut all of my felt with the Rotary Blade in the Cricut Maker. Talk about easy peasy!
Wood Spoon Garden Markers:
With some inexpensive spoons and acrylic paint you can create colorful wood spoon garden markers for your garden that are practical as well as pretty!
Have you ever used your Cricut Maker to cut vinyl? Better yet, have you ever used your Cricut Maker to make something for
With the Cricut Maker I was able to use scraps of vinyl to create plant markers for my garden. This project was perfect to use with the Cricut Maker because it allowed me to cut out the EXACT size and font I needed. Plus, it saved me the hassle of buying individual letter stickers or writing out the words in my own handwriting.
Spring Themed Party Favors:
Add that extra touch to your next event by making these adorable Spring themed party favors with just a few sheets of paper and some cupcake liners!
One thing that the Cricut Maker does best (in my opinion), is that it makes decorating for the holidays or season so much EASIER!
Case in point, I created these Spring Themed Party Favors by selecting different flower shapes in Cricut Design Space. Then, I simply cut out all of the flowers with my Cricut Maker. In minutes, I had tons of different flowers that looked like them came out of a store-bought paper pack! Using the Cricut Maker in this way can help you to save money because you are not spending a ton on those pre-cut paper designs (like flowers).
Custom Pencil Cases:
With just a few minutes, your Cricut Maker and these cute pouches (I found these at the Target Dollar Spot) you can create custom gifts in no time! I created these pencil pouches for my nieces and nephews, but this project could easily be applied to makeup bags, tote bags, pool bags and more. The possibilities are endless!
Using the Cricut Maker, I was able to transform some plain pencil pouches by creating a cut file of a name, then using that file to cut the name out of iron-on! This is a great method to use if you want to customize something for an easy gift idea. Plus, you will never have to struggle again with finding the correct spelling of any name!
Custom Wall Decor:
I love creating personalized gifts – especially for new little ones! Thanks to my Cricut Maker and EasyPress 2 I can create custom wall decor that really makes a statement.
Creating wall art with the Cricut Maker is one of the easiest things to do, and it is a great beginner’s project if you are new to the Cricut Maker.
For example, in my Baby Wall Decor project, I used my Cricut Maker to cut my main image out of iron-on. Then I applied that iron-on to a large canvas to create a custom piece of wall art. Imagine, in just minutes, being able to create wall decor gifts that are PERSONALIZED! Custom home decor in just a few minutes? Yes please!
As you can see, there is no limit to what you can create with your Cricut Maker! If you have the Cricut Maker, what projects have you made using the machine?
