Get your table decorated just in time for Halloween! In this
Here’s the thing. Do I need placemats for every holiday that I have to wash and keep track of each season? Heck no! Do I need easy laminated placemats that I can use for the holiday and not feel guilty about keeping clean and storing all year? HECK YES!

HOW TO MAKE BOO PLACEMAT:
1. Cut patterned paper to 9×12 and set aside.
2. I created this project in Cricut Design Space so you can make your own placemats in minutes! Cut the word BOO! from vinyl (the spider is iron-on for the custom napkins we’ll be sharing tomorrow). Then remove excess vinyl and weed out any vinyl from the Halloween image.
3. Add transfer tape to vinyl image and center it onto your placemat.
3. Burnish the image with the Cricut scraper and remove transfer tape.
4. Doodle around the outer edge of the placemat with a marker. If you – like me – do not have a steady hand, go around the placemat several times with the marker. It looks like you meant the lines to be “artsy”!
5. Run the placemat through your Xyron Creative Station using the Two-Sided Laminate Refill. Once done, trim the outer edge if needed.
And voila! With your Cricut machine and your Xyron Creative Station you can easily transform any piece of scrapbooking paper into a custom Halloween placemat!
This is part two of our three part series! You can grab the custom menu from yesterday’s post, and tune in tomorrow for our third project – custom paper napkins!
