If you love shopping at Jo-Ann Fabrics as much as I do, then you probably have those items that you can’t live without! Today, I am sharing my top 5 items that I use over and over again with my Cricut, that can be found at any Jo-Ann store!
I’m Beth Kingston…and I love Jo-Ann Fabrics. There. I said it. If you’ve ever been to my craft room or seen my projects you know Jo-Ann is my first stop whenever I’ve got a creative idea in mind or when I need to give my creativity a kick in the pants! I used to have to drive almost an hour to Louisville to get my fix, but last month they opened one less than five miles from my house and Don can’t decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing. 😉
When we created exclusive content for the Cricut Explore Gold at Jo-Ann I realized there are certain materials I use over and over with my Cricut – so now I’m sharing my obsessions with you as well as some fun project ideas for each. See you in the aisles at Jo-Ann! *standard disclaimer here – I wrote this of my own free will but there are some affiliate links included and I might make a penny or two if you buy something!*
Jump Rings: I keep these on hand in every color, shape and size because not only are they perfect for jewelry making (I did a whole series of leather jewelry using the exclusive images in the Cricut Explore Gold), they are a lifesaver when you want to add a little bling to other projects like home décor pieces, Christmas ornaments, wine charms and more.

Pillow Forms: Did you know you can turn any image in Cricut Design Space in to a pillow? ANY image? Why pay $25 or more for decorative pillows that are only in the size, shape and color available when you can create custom pillows with a Cricut image, some Cricut iron on material and your imagination? These make great gifts for the holidays, wedding and baby showers, house warmings, the list goes on and on!

Wood Plaques: I have made dozens of gifts and home décor projects with Joann’s wood plaques. They can be painted, decoupaged, stained or glittered – then add an image or two from the Cricut Explore Air and you’ve got a gorgeous project for any occasion, holiday or theme. They come in a variety of sizes so the possibilities are endless!

Xyron Sticker Makers: These little beauties turn almost any material in to a sticker, and are my go-to adhesive for applying my Cricut creations to my projects! There is no waiting for wet adhesive to dry, no mess to clean up, and they can handle the most intricate die cut images. They come in a variety of sizes for all of your crafty needs!

Paper Straws: In addition to…you know…drinking out of them 😉 paper straws are the perfect festive (and inexpensive) way to add a little pizazz to things like cupcake toppers, photo booth props, home décor projects and kids crafts. Just adhere your favorite Cricut image to a paper straw and let your imagination run wild!
