You know we had to throw some candy in the mix – introducing our quick and simple recipe for Chocolate Mint Dalgona Coffee!
Specialty coffee has helped me through many mornings (and – if we’re being honest – afternoons too). Getting together with my friends over a seasonal coffee drink was an easy way to get in some girl time and get my caffeine fix all at the same time! These days we are having fewer coffee dates and learning to recreate our favorite foods and drinks at home, so I decided to try my hand at dalgona coffee. This luscious Chocolate Mint Dalgona Coffee is super easy to make and will make you feel like a genuine barista in just a few steps.
DIY Specialty Coffee: Chocolate mint dalgona coffee RECIPE
This recipe features chocolate mint flavors, but once you learn how to make dalgona coffee you will love all the different combinations you can create! Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp of instant coffee
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
- International Delight Chocolate Mint Coffee Cream
- Milk of choice (works just as well with nut milks and soy milk!)
- Ice cubes
- Mint Chocolate candy bar/cookie
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE MINT DALGONA COFFEE:
Step 1: Whisk together instant coffee, sugar and hot water until peaks form. You can use a hand whisk, a hand mixer or a stand mixer, we use this hand mixer and it is the greatest $20+ we ever spent!!
Step 2: Fill a glass with ice cubes and top with
Step 3: Top the rest of your cup with your milk of choice. Stir gently if desired.
Step 4: Put one to three spoonfuls of the whipped coffee mixture (what we made in step 1) on top.
Step 5: Crush mint chocolate bar and sprinkle on top of whipped coffee.
Serve and enjoy!
Chocolate Mint Dalgona Coffee
Ingredients

Instructions
- Whisk together instant coffee, sugar and hot water until peaks form. You can use a hand whisk, a hand mixer or a stand mixer, we use this hand mixer and it is the greatest $20+ we ever spent!!
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and top with desired amount of Chocolate Mint Coffee Cream. If you just want a touch of taste go for a teaspoon, but if you like intense flavors you might want to go with an ounce.
- Top the rest of your cup with your milk of choice. Stir gently if desired.
- Put one to three spoonfuls of the whipped coffee mixture (what we made in step 1) on top.
- Crush mint chocolate bar and sprinkle on top of whipped coffee.
