HOW I USED MY TINSEL IN A TANGLE SVG FILE:
As a military family, we move every few years, which means my Christmas style is always ”evolving”. However, one thing that I will always incorporate into my decorating (no matter what the holiday) is a funny pun on a custom t-shirt! If you don’t believe me, then check out my other SVG file puns for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and even St. Patrick’s Day.
Custom t-shirts are one of my favorite things to make during the holiday season because they don’t require a ton of supplies, time, or effort. Plus, in this case, they make amazing gifts in general because everyone likes a t-shirt with a fun design on it!
This month, I used our free SVG file to create a Christmas shirt from MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME! – Steel Magnolia fans unite!!
To make the t-shirt, all I did was buy a plain white shirt, cut out my SVG file in heat transfer vinyl, and then added it to my shirt using my Cricut Easypress!
Now, if t-shirts are not your thing, don’t worry, you could still use this funny pun in different ways when it comes to Christmas crafts or homemade Christmas gifts! For example, you could use it on wood signs, Christmas ornaments, gift tags, and even Christmas cards!
NOTE: If you use it on smaller items (like ornaments and cards) you will need to resize the image.

Hi Beth, I seem to be having the same issue several others are having. There is no live link for the PNG and the SVG just comes up as a picture with no option to download. I have a MacBook Pro and want to add it to Design Space
Thanks, Terry

Hi Beth, I have a HP windows 10 computer. I could not seem to get it to download the svg. I want to upload it to design space. The file doesn’t give me an option to download it.
Beth Kingston says
Hi Bobbie – when you click on the link where it says “click here to save as an SVG” it should open in a new window where you can save it. I just had some other folks try it and they didn’t have an issue – if that still doesn’t work for you try this link and see if that helps? https://thekingstonhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Tinsel-in-a-tangle.svg

Terry – I am also on a mac. If you use two fingers to click on the image you will get the option to “save image as” and it automatically defaults to a PNG. If you click on the SVG link it opens in a new window and then you do the same two finger click and select “save as” and it defaults to an SVG. Hope that helps!

Hi Beth, I LOVE this file, but unfortunately, I’m having the same issue the others are having with the SVG file. Thanks so much for the file! I’m sure there’s just a hiccup. I too am on Windows 10.

I am a newbie with all of this. So could you please tell me what I am doing wrong? When I right click on the design it does not give me the option to save as an SVG. I do have other options to save but not to SVG. What do I do?
Thanks so much.
