CHRISTMAS IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!! Gaaaaaaaaaahhh!! Ok – deep breath. Deeeeeeeep breath – and maybe a little more coffee.
If you – like me – are still frantically working on your Christmas cards, then you’ve come to the right place, because today I’ve got ten Cricut machine-made Christmas cards to share!
Cricut is a lifesaver this time of year because no matter what project you are creating, with just the push of a button, your Cricut can do most of the work for you. This is especially helpful during the busiest time of the year when you have a million things on your mind and making Christmas cards slowly drifts down to the bottom of your to-do list. – Don’t look at me! I know I’m not the only one in this boat! LOL
HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH CRICUT:
So, to make all of our lives a bit easier, I am sharing ten Christmas cards that you can easily make with your favorite Cricut machine and the supplies you have on hand. All of these cards look like they took forever to make, but in reality, are very simple to create. Plus, you don’t need to be an expert Cricut user to make any of these cards, which is always a win! Also, many of these handmade Christmas cards can be made on both Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker. However, with a few adjustments, you could also make them on a Cricut Joy or Cricut Midi, if that is the machine you have on hand or love using.
Now that you know all the cardmaking and machine details, let’s break out our Cricut pens, glitter cardstock, and cutting blade, and let’s make some beautiful cards!

Becoming Martha had me at the words sequin shaker card! I love how she turns this basic card design into something special with glitter and sequins, and she shares a matching gift tag as well.

Plus, the best thing is that since you are using a cutting machine like Cricut, you (or I) could easily change the color design if we wanted to! I mean, how cute would these beautiful Christmas cards be in rainbow colors?!
For those of you who love greeting cards with animals on them, check out these Christmas bird cards from Hey Let’s Make Stuff! These cards are so gorgeous that I would definitely use them all year long! – Don’t judge me!

Your friends and family will think you spent hours on this ugly sweater card from Laura’s Crafty Life! However, she created a series of layers that make this homemade card easy and fun to put together! Also, she even shares the matching envelope liner, and it adds the perfect touch.
Red and gold are my favorite Christmas color combo, and Liz On Call is speaking my language with this cool gift tag! Now, even though these are gift tags, you could easily make your own cards using the design. – With your Cricut, you can customize any project in just a few minutes to truly make it your own!
Finally, gift cards are easy to give but can sometimes feel a little bit impersonal. Our friend Lia Griffith solves that problem with not one but two fun gift card holders – a felt bag and a Christmas ornament.

THE EASIEST WAY TO STORE OR SAVE YOUR HOLIDAY CARDS:
There are tons of great ideas online about what to do with old Christmas cards or old holiday cards. For instance, you can turn them into Christmas decorations, create Christmas card ornaments, turn them into gift tags, or even use them to create simple gift bags. The possibilities are truly endless!
However, even though I LOVE Christmas crafts and repurposing items, I personally don’t like the idea of cutting up my cards that are from my family members and friends. This is because many of these craft projects that you see online only use certain parts of the cards, then throw away the rest of the card. That means you could be losing the ”sentimental value” that the card holds or that personal touch that someone may have added to the card (especially if the card was homemade).
So…what do you do with those old cards that you want to keep FULLY intact? YOU TURN THEM INTO MINI ALBUMS!
Yes, I said mini albums!
OK, BETH, – HOW DO YOU MAKE THE MINI ALBUMS?:
To make the mini albums, all you need is a few supplies and about 15 minutes, and you can turn your piles of Christmas cards into mini albums that you will treasure throughout the years. Every Christmas we put all of the mini albums (from past years) in a basket by our Christmas tree, and it is such a great way to reminisce during the holiday season!
